Perth Americana outfit Davey Craddock & The Spectacles have just dropped a video for their first single, Better Alone, off their upcoming as-yet-untitled album, exclusively on theMusic.com.au.

Filmed by acclaimed photographer Jarrad Seng at Fremantle's Odd Fellow when the band played their single launch show a few weeks ago, the warm, cosy video matches the ballad's contemplative Australian tone and Craddock's drawling vocals.

Having pocketed Group Of The Year at the WA Country Music Awards and WAM nominations for Song Of The Year and Best Country Act, Better Alone has already been enjoying airplay on double j, triple j and ABC Local.

Receiving glowing reviews for Better Alone from alt-country blogs like Post To Wire and Timber And Steel, as well as double j, the song has been earning itself comments like: "Their name has been plastered all over the blogosphere and everyone seems to be singing their praises. Not sure what all the fuss is about? Then you need to listen to Better Alone".
