More Gay Paris More Gay Paris

Sydney-bred stalwart outfit Gay Paris have much to celebrate at the moment. With the release of their forthcoming studio full-length, Ladies & Gentlemen, May We Present To You: The Dark Arts, approaching the horizon swiftly, the band are fixing to start the party in its honour, and they're getting under way first and foremost with the unveiling of the new video for lead single The Sackcloth Saint Of The Cornfield.

Having recently been added to rotation on triple j, the track marks the first hints of the wider album to come — the band's first since 2013's The Last Good Party — though Aussie fans will have ample opportunity to hear it and many other cuts in the flesh when Gay Paris join up with instrumental-rock powerhouses sleepmakeswaves for the latter's headline national tour throughout next month and June.

Gay Paris will jump on board at The Northern Hotel, Byron Bay, on Friday, 1 May, and join the sleepsmakeswaves crew for additional performances in Brisbane (2 May), Newcastle (16 May), Adelaide (29 May), Perth (30 May), Melbourne (12 June) and Sydney (13 June).

Tickets for all shows are available from sleepmakeswaves and Gay Paris' websites.
