PREMIERE: The Hard Aches - I Get Like This

Up-and-coming South Australian two-piece punk outfit The Hard Aches have had a prolific period of activity together, nutting out a debut EP, a split with Melburnian band Foxtrot and some solid touring since teaming up two years ago.

The pair are now preparing to take things to the next level with the release of their impending debut full-length, Pheromones, and, to celebrate its imminent arrival, theMusic.com.au is proud to be premiering the clip for brand new track and first single I Get Like This.

The clip was filmed in the confines of the band's actual rehearsal space — the tremendously named Laundry Matt's Laundromat — with the help of some friends, several GoPro cameras and the editing skills of collaborator Caleb Williamson. The result is a delightfully DIY good time, and we can't recommend hitting that Play button enough. 

If you like what you hear, you'll be pleased to know that The Hard Aches are also hitting the road in support of Pheromones — out on 12 July on vinyl and digital via local label Anchorhead Records — this May and June, so you'll have a few opportunities to catch them in action, starting with a solo show at Vic On The Park in Sydney on 28 May (backed up in the city the following evening at Blackwire Records). From there, the band will be performing in Newcastle, Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne, Adelaide, and twice in Perth, where they play their final show of the tour at Winston House on 20 June.
