Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders - Her Hands

It's been a heck of an ascendant year for Sydney-based hype act Jack Ladder & The Dreamlanders. The New South Welsh group recently signed with US-based indie Fat Possum after a triumphant showing at this year's BIGSOUND Live showcase series in Brisbane, a feather in the cap that comes after the similarly not-insignificant achievements of having released lauded recent full-length Playmates as well has having let the ink dry on a UK deal with booking agency ATC Live.

But none of that means that Ladder and his faithful cohort are liable to rest on their laurels, instead maintaining their undeniable momentum with the fresh release of their new clip for Playmates track Her Hands. Shot in the historic corridors of Sydney Town Hall and directed by Australian Director's Guild Award winner and prior video collaborator Steve Rogers, the clip features photography direction from Oscar winner Russel Boyd (Master & Commander) with a guest appearance from The Great Gatsby actor Hamish Michael, rocking a blonde wig and a hella fresh manicure, as Ladder and co. croon and synthesise their way through the tune, in the sort of way that nets people broad acclaim from media outlets around the world.
