More John Butler Trio More John Butler Trio

Legendary Aussie roots outfit the John Butler Trio continue their support for recently released full-length album Flesh & Blood with the unveiling of the beautifully animated video for the LP's fourth single, Spring To Come.

Those who have already given Flesh & Blood a spin or hundred will already be well familiar with the emotive strains of its opener, but here the song is given an entirely new dimension with its painstakingly created stop-motion clip. It comes courtesy of Dropbear Digital's Jonathan Chong, who has previously collaborated on several acclaimed videos, including Hudson and Troop's Against The Grain, with assistance from Melburnian illustrator Snip Green.

Butler and his compatriots are currently doing the rounds over in the United States, but aren't far off a homeward-bound journey - they'll play both Falls and Southbound festivals at the end of this year/beginning of next, as well as putting in a stop at the Port Fairy Folk Festival in March before setting out proper, with appearances scheduled in Toowoomba, Bundaberg, Mackay, Townsville, and Kuranda. They wrap it all up with a final performance at Hope Estate's 2015 Campfire Music Festival on Sunday, March 15.

John Butler Trio are currently touring the USA and will return to home to perform on the Falls Festivals and Southbound at the end of the year. They will also perform a run of shows in Queensland and the Port Fairy Folk Festival in SA as well as The Campfire Festival in the Hunter Valley next year.
