'8 Good Reasons' To Watch Sinead O'Connor's New Clip

Veteran Irish singer-songwriter Sinead O'Connor has kicked off the lead-up to dropping new single 8 Good Reasons with the release of its accompanying video clip overnight.

The single itself won't be available until mid-November, when it's released via Nettwerk Records, but the clip should help tide you over before she touches down in Australia for the Port Fairy Folk Festival and WOMADelaide events.

8 Good Reasons marks the second song to be released from the Nothing Compares 2 U singer's tenth studio album, I'm Not Bossy, I'm The Boss, which dropped back in August. The track follows that month's Take Me To Church single release, and finds O'Connor expressing herself from the back of a bus doing the rounds in Dublin. Here, O'Connor continues with the religious/pseudo-heretic imagery conjured up by her previous release, donning pastoral garb for the song's clip and promotional material, as well as recent performances.

Enjoy the clip, then head to our Festivals hub if you haven't sorted out when you're going to catch her in action next year.
