The Victorian rhymesmith keeps up the momentum with his newest video

More Briggs More Briggs

Shepparton, Victoria-bred hip-hop luminary Briggs is living large right now, with third full-length album Sheplife likely to make a top 15-20 debut on the ARIA charts this weekend and his track Bad Apples earning rotation privileges from next week on national youth broadcaster triple j.

To complement those achievements, we're proud to present the premiere airing of the accompanying video clip for the fresh single, a hazily-tinged collection of scenes from remote Australia overlaid with gritty, industrial-esque instrumentation, the odd funereal bell, and Briggs' distinct, aggressively passionate delivery style and lyricism.

The talented tale-spinner was recently recognised at the annual National Indigenous Music Awards, at which he performed in a hip-hop showcase and took out the title of Best New Talent Of The Year.
