Phonographic Performance Company of Australia Limited (PPCA) has been a principal partner and major prize sponsor of The Australian Music Prize since its inception in 2005. In previous years, as the major prize sponsor, PPCA has proudly donated $30,000 to Eddy Current Suppression Ring, The Mess Hall, The Drones, Augie March and Lisa Mitchell. In 2010, PPCA were thrilled to present the cash prize to Cloud Control, for their album ‘Bliss Release’.
Established in 1969, PPCA is a national, non government, non-profit organisation that safeguards the rights of thousands of Australian recording artists and labels, ensuring they receive a fair return for their music.
