Homebake 2011 RocKwiz Competition
ROCKWIZ WINNER ANNOUNCED
We put trivia nerd against trivia nerd, had heaps of entries, some hotly contested competition and finally narrowed it down to four finalists four the Homebake RocKwiz competition.
It didn’t seem possible, but the competition got even hotter in the final, with New South Welshman Bianca Maistre taking out the top spot and earning a position on stage with RocKwiz Live at Homebake on Saturday 3 December.
Bianca managed to edge out fellow competitors Rebecca Ames, Finn Hilferty Warren and Chris Auld by answering all 26 questions – covering music from Bachelor Girl to The Beatles – in a very impressive four minutes and 18 seconds.
ROCKWIZ FINALISTS ANNOUNCED
The four finalists of the RocKwiz Live competition have been announced, and will go head to head in a private competition next Thursday to determine the winner.
They are Rebecca Aumes, Chris Auld, Finn Hilferty Warren and Bianca Maistre, all from NSW.
ROCKWIZ ROUND 3 AND 4 WINNERS/RUNNERS-UP
The winners and runners-up of the third and fourth rounds of the RocKwiz Live competition have been announced, with NSW’s Finn Hilferty Warren and Bianca Maistre taking out the top spots respectively.
Round 3 runners-up are Mel McCormack (QLD), Steve Doran (NSW), Jason Bickerton (NSW), Chelsea Tomney (SA) and Nadina Collins (VIC), and Round 4’s are Steve Whelan, Joel, David Young, Euan Troup and Brendan O’Keeffe, all from NSW.
