More Disclosure More Disclosure

Back in Australia for Groovin The Moo, one of the most influential dance acts of the past few years, Disclosure treated a sold-out Sydney crowd to a headline show of epic proportions last Thursday night. The Lawrence brothers had some tough acts to follow, however, with one of the strongest support line-ups this reviewer has had the pleasure of seeing.

Sydney's Lancelot opened the night, dropping some sweet basslines that had the steadily growing crowd on their feet. Playing hits like Givin' It Up and Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent, he had the crowd sufficiently warmed up for the stylings of Touch Sensitive. Michael Di Francesco certainly knew how to work the packed room of eager party-goers, with crowd favourite being Pizza Guy.

Next up was Wave Racer aka Tom Purcell, who has been absolutely smashing it since the success of his debut single Rock U Tonite, which was a massive hit amongst the revellers. His latest single Streamers was also a definite crowd pleaser.

But it was when Disclosure took the stage that the crowd really went wild. Opening with F For You, the boys brought with them their sleek interpretation of deep house, and the giddy crowd could not get enough. It's hard to pinpoint a highlight as the boys were on fire from start to finish. With the younger Lawrence brother, Howard, providing dusky vocals in F For You and strapping on a bass for When A Fire Starts To Burn, and elder Lawrence, Guy, drumming precisely throughout, it's clear that these are two supremely talented young men.

White Noise sparked a mass crowd singalong and every time the boys started to jump, the crowd joined in. Ending the night with Latch, the guys left the sold out crowd gagging for more.
