Elizabeth Rose tied up the night with The Good Life and just made a whole bar fall in love with her. Only good things can come from this girl.

Starting off the night was Leure, just her guitar and her keyboard captivating our ears. She created a spiritual atmosphere and sent everyone into a trance with her angelic voice. She belted out a few new tracks, experimenting with their live feel while still maintaining a strong  cohesiveness.

Charles Murdoch followed and played a pure instrumental set, synth and technology-based with a Bag Raiders and Flume vibe. Somehow the toggling of a few switches and a pressing of a few buttons can create some intriguing sounds. Mojo's was buzzing through this set, his music definitely suiting the atmosphere. It wasn't a set you stood and listened to; it was music that backed up people's conversations. What Murdoch produced was great and you just didn't need to pay too much attention to it to enjoy it.

The girl Mojo's was waiting for all night however was Elizabeth Rose. She may be tiny, but her voice shook the whole bar. The crowd shuffled towards the stage eager to be closer to the miniature musician. She started off with Give In. Throughout the set, she danced around the stage and couldn't keep her body still; the audience dutifully mimicked her every move. She surprised the audience with new tracks from her EP, such as Sensibility; the EP will debut early next year. This was her first time performing in Perth and she was amazed how lively the audience was towards her songs. Towards the end of the night she performed her triple j Like A Version cover of Corona's Rhythm Of The Night, and suddenly the room got rowdier and no one stood still. Elizabeth Rose tied up the night with The Good Life and just made a whole bar fall in love with her. Only good things can come from this girl.
