Steve Hughes: While It's Still Legal

"Ever the thought provoking storyteller."

Melbourne Town Hall has the vibe of a stadium rock show tonight, as multitudes of people are led in by ushers to their seats. Lights dim and Steve Hughes walks out, with clipped locks that make him appear a decade younger. His new haircut hasn't mellowed his aggressive political stance, however, and he spends the next hour railing against perceived societal ills. Hughes waxes on trigger words and racial differences, what it means to be Australian, and decries what he considers the inexorable dumbing down of society. Ever the thought provoking storyteller, Hughes leaves tonight's audience hungry for more.
