David O’Doherty: Will Try To Fix Everything (IRL)

2 April 2014 | 5:34 pm | Glenn Waller

"A show delivered with modest charm by Ireland’s favourite beta male."

More David O'Doherty More David O'Doherty

The ever gregarious David O'Doherty suddenly appears in spotlight on the Forum stage tonight and launches into his patented stream of consciousness observations that have the audience laughing immediately. With trusty tiny keyboard by his side he churns out songs about scoundrels, life and Grand Designs (the show, not the notion), and laments Lance Armstrong's fall from grace, describing the knock-on effect it has had on his own existence. Tackling the blues via consumerism (IKEA products), and his assessment of soft marketing by big business also weave their way into a show delivered with modest charm by Ireland's favourite beta male.
