A note to anyone in the security business: At a Tenacious D gig, there is no such thing as “crowd control”.

More Tenacious D More Tenacious D

If you look up “charismatic” in a dictionary, I'm pretty sure you'll find a picture of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, surrounded by a halo, with a gaggle of young blonde women clambering to get close to them. Tenacious D are pure, molten talent: Hilariously funny and capable of rocking their audience so hard that, on returning home, they would find that all of their socks have spontaneously combusted, including the ones they were wearing. Black and Gass have the kind of chemistry on stage which would be totally sexy if it were between two hot cheerleaders. The bond between these two men is obvious and, on some level, very touching. Playing items from their entire back catalogue, “Jables” and “Rage Kage” bring a show which is utterly compelling. A note to anyone in the security business: At a Tenacious D gig, there is no such thing as “crowd control”.
