Absolute hilarity ensued, with an ending that is safe to say, no one was expecting, and closing off a show that has been a definite highlight of the festival.

You know you have seen a really good comedy show when you are still laughing when you walk out the room well after it has finished. And local comedian and 2011 RAW Comedy winner Dayne Rathbone's show It's Me Dayne definitely had people laughing for a good long while.

From stories about his brother Luke and their encounter with bees, his pet lizard called Baby, poems about his extremely accident-prone blind friend with leprosy and swimming under the sea with Obama, Rathbone fed off the crowd interaction and delivered each joke superbly. With a definite knack for timing and writing a really good punch line, he finished off with some literal story telling and then turned it into a stage play as he got some audience members to help him out with performing the script. Absolute hilarity ensued, with an ending that is safe to say, no one was expecting, and closing off a show that has been a definite highlight of the festival.
