She Knows Too Much is a surprisingly different, unscripted show by two newbies to MICF, circus performer Debra Batten and dancer Catherine Magill. This quiet gem of a show is an original, deliciously subtle comic duet in a genre of its own. It's nicely funny, almost accidentally so, deconstructing itself as it goes along via whimsical absurdity and spontaneous silliness. She Knew Too Much is held in place by confident performers enjoying a strong dynamic forged over years of working together. A show without ego is a rare thing in comedy and these two offer an added delight, that of seeing two older women on stage doing what they do well. The 'Memories' segment is adorable, movement-wise it is a treat, and the occasionally over-rambly moments are compensated for by their ability to hold the stage even when not doing much
