Comparisons to James Blake seem inevitable, but the elusive beauty of this album documents the emergence of a unique and accomplished talent.

More Sohn More Sohn

If misery loves company SOHN's debut album is sure to attract a crowd. Tremors blow delicate bubbles of melancholia as SOHN wallows in lovelorn desperation. An undeniably sad, regretful ache hangs ghostly about these songs. This might sound a touch gloomy but SOHN's clear bright falsetto, always dripping with plenty of emotion, also comes with a sense of optimism and inspiring inner strength. His vocals sit atop glitchy layers of intricately orchestrated post-dubstep electronic abstraction. Comparisons to James Blake seem inevitable, but the elusive beauty of this album documents the emergence of a unique and accomplished talent.
