Dave Grohl’s production is predictably top notch and all the material sounds fantastic.

No matter who the artist, EPs full of covers and live tracks scream 'stopgap'. It's not surprising then that Ghost's pre-Christmas offering is a mixed bag. Does the world really need a live version of Secular Haze or a tepid one-dimensional cover of ABBA's I'm A Marionette? Still, all's not lost here. The band's version of Depeche Mode's Waiting For The Night is wickedly creepy and their take on Army Of Lovers' Crucified is strangely addictive. What's more, Dave Grohl's production is predictably top notch and all the material sounds fantastic.
