One of the country’s best new prospects.

More The Smith Street Band More The Smith Street Band

The new five-track EP from Melbourne's The Smith Street Band was birthed in misery but emerges swathed in triumph. The title track is an exultant meditation on the sometimes gruelling but inevitably rewarding touring life, while Ducks Fly Together is about leaving someone behind to hit that same road and the remaining tracks are equally anthemic. Wil Wagner's words once again carry the heft but the band sounds taut and road-hardened – the complete package. One of the country's best new prospects.
