Power 50 - #49: Nicholas Greco & Michael Cristidis

Co-Directors Nicholas Greco and Michael Christidis, along with a team of partners that includes Fil Palermo, Tom Caw and Christian Serrao, have led the steady rise of the Melbourne-based collective now known as Untitled Group, becoming a giant force in destination festivals and concerts, regularly chalking up over 100 events per year.

It’s an entity that has been built from grass roots, Greco pursuing a career in the music industry from the early age of 18, joining forces with a team that included Christidis on a weekly night at the now-defunct Palace Theatre in Melbourne. Their success inspired the duo who developed a taste for larger scale artist booking and promotions/marketing, rolling the dice with the launch of a camping festival called Beyond The Valley at Phillip Island over the 2014/2015 New Year period.

BTV has now moved to a less-windy site in Lardner and Beyond The Valley joined forces with Novel to launch a sister camping festival, Pitch Music & Arts, an electro-fest on this same site.

Yet another success for the Untitled Group team, this festival also returns in 2018. Greco and Christidis are also active in artist management, looking after Ivan Ooze and London Topaz (Greco) and Lastlings (Christidis).
