A piece of music history could be yours with Gang Of Youths frontman Dave Le'aupepe announcing he is putting the guitar he primarily used to write and record the band's ARIA Award-winning album, Go Farther In Lightness, up for auction.

The emerald green Guild Starfire IV ST 2000 was used to write nearly every song on the critically-acclaimed 2017 LP, including Fear & Trembling, Say Yes To Life, The Deepest Sighs, The Frankest Shadows and The Heart Is A Muscle.

"It has been part of me through the most significant period in my career and life," Le'aupepe said.

"I hope it goes to someone who will use it and love it the way that I did. I hope it finds a loving home so that others in need can find a home in America after having to leave their own."
