And they'll be touring the country later this year.

Get ready to hear the music of AC/DC unlike you've heard it before — backed by a 30-piece orchestra!

Kicking off this November, the Australian Symphony Orchestra, conducted by George Ellis, will be backing a 'super band' to celebrate the music of AC/DC.

Judas Priest's Tim 'Ripper' Owens leads the charge for the super band, along with former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright, who joined the rock megastars for their albums from 1985-1988.

Noiseworks/Mi-Sex's Steve Balbi, guitarist Joel McDonald, The Angels' James Morley and Mondo Rock's Paul Christie will also be joined by Cynthia Gallie, who promises to bring new life to huge tracks like Back In Black.
