Triple J Roster Gets Shake-up As Veronica Milsom Returns

Beloved radio presenter Veronica Milsom will return to her triple j Drive post next month after maternity leave.

The youth broadcaster has today announced that Milsom will be back on air from July 23 alongside co-host Lewis Hobba, with fill-in Gen Fricker resuming her usual Lunch timeslot.

“I can't wait to be back at triple j. For me, the sooner I exchange baby spew rags for tune rags the better,” Milsom said.

The roster shake-up will also see Alex Dyson bid farewell to the station after covering Lunch for the past nine months, with his final broadcast scheduled for 22 June, and Weekend Brekkie host Stacy Gougoulis covering lunch duties for four weeks for Fricker.

"I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to meet the intellectual tone and high level of discussion of the triple j Drive show,” Fricker said.

“Unfortunately, I didn’t take up that opportunity and will now live with the fact I spent the last nine months dumbing down the nation and spreading misinformation about Lewis. I regret nothing."
