"Being able to see live music allows young adults to see themselves represented on stage and find community."

Victorian non-profit youth music organisation The Push are calling for Sydney act Gang Of Youths to add an all-ages show to their string of Melbourne shows at The Forum.

In a petition shared to their Facebook page, The Push ask for the band to consider adding an all-ages show to the run, saying that, "young people need opportunities to see live music."

"Triple J 'Hottest 100 2017' toppers Gang of Youths just announced a huge run of Australian dates for their Say Yes To Life 2018 tour. As it stands, they currently have 7 Forum Melbourne shows on sale, all of which are 18+," reads the statement. "We at The Push Inc believe that young people need opportunities to see live music! Being able to see live music allows young adults to see themselves represented on stage and find community."

The petition is aiming to reach 200 signatures and, at the time of writing, was at 172 and rising rapidly. Check out the petition here and the full post below.
