The Music has obtained the application.

Australian touring company Big Deal Touring has lodged an application to the Federal Court of Australia to liquidate major Australian agent Ralph Carr's touring arm, RCM Touring, following alleged non-payment due to Big Deal.

The Music has obtained the application document filed by Big Deal Touring on 2 May, seeking RCM Touring "to be wound up in insolvency relying on failure by the company to comply with a statutory demand".

It is alleged RCM Touring owes Big Deal Touring $120,300 after it provided marketing and consultancy for RCM in relation to tours including an Elvis Presley orchestra tribute run, a Priscilla Presley speaking tour and shows by AFL star Dustin Martin at Melbourne Crown Casino late last year.

The document claims that an official liquidator be appointed, while Big Deal be taxed and reimbursed its alleged owed costs.

While best known for representing Australian names like Dustin Martin and entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins, Carr's RCM Touring was most recently involved in a Roy Orbison hologram tour that was scheduled to go ahead this month but was cancelled in April.

See below for the alleged debt figures:

Elvis Encore Tour August 2018 (dated 8 July 2017): $16,500

Roy Orbison Tour (dated 8 August 2017): $16,500

Priscilla Presley Tour (dated 24 November 2017): $25,300

Dustin Martin at Melbourne's The Palms (dated 8 December 2017): $11,000

Bonus payable under the Elvis agreement: $51,000

The hearing is scheduled to go ahead at Sydney's Law Courts Building on 1 June.

The Music has reached out to Ralph Carr for comment.

EDITORS NOTE:

This story has been amended. It previously stated that RCM Touring was involved in past Tina Arena tours. This is incorrect. While Ralph Carr has previously worked as Arena's manager, RCM Touring was never associated with the Australian singer's tours.
