"The festival has no boundaries for creativity!”

Whether it's the festival’s carefully curated line-up, family-friendly focus or overall relaxed and welcoming environment, something separates The Lost Lands from other.

This year’s epic line-up once again highlights new and breaking acts alongside established artists, all of which will take over Victoria’s Werribee Park & Mansion from 3 – 4 November accompanied by circus, comedy, art installations, games and workshops.

The event comes from Falls Festival founder Simon Daly, who channelled more than two decades of experience into its creation.

"Being able to curate a festival later in life and adapt all the best things I’ve seen in festivals over the past 20 years, has been amazing,” Daly said.

Highlights from the 2018 musical line-up:

Tim Finn

Hailed as one of the

new century’s great classicists, the pop pioneer and former Split Enz and Crowded House member has penned countless hits across his solo career. Catch his poetic songwriter at The Lost Lands.

The Jungle Giants

Still riding a high from the release of their acclaimed third album, 2017’s Quiet Ferocity, Brisbane four-piece The Jungle Giants have honed their live show to perfection over the past 12 months through relentless touring. They also scored four tunes in the Hottest 100, including a top 20 position for infectious track Feel The Way I Do.

Kate Miller-Heidke

Quirky pop/opera singer Kate Miller-Heidke is getting back to basics this year, telling The Music ahead of her most recent Australian tour that she’s excited to “go super acoustic with a focus on the singing and nothing else” on her next album. Miller-Heidke spent the past couple of years working on Muriel's Wedding The Musical.

Baker Boy

Despite only having two singles released, Baker Boy managed to land them both on the Hottest 100 of 2017 and score support slots for the likes of Dizzee Rascal and 50 Cent. The fast-rising hip hop star has been unstoppable since the release of Cloud 9 and Marryuna.

Mallrat

After playing Groovin The Moo and Splendour In The Grass with a run of headline dates in-between, Melbourne via Brisbane rapper Mallrat will be in fine form when she hits The Lost Lands stage, bringing with her new EP In The Sky. Last year, she inked new local and international deals after one of her tracks was picked up by Google for a campaign.

The Arts & Wonder program:

Artistic Director Ian Pidd went all out with this year’s Arts & Wonder bill, which features circus acrobats Gravity & Other Myths, ABC TV's green thumb dirtgirl (dirtgirlworld), comedy legends The Listies, fairytale game creators Born In A Taxi, dance party pioneers Morning Gloryville, resident toy lab Frankentoys, a Spiegelesque tent and more.
