Sydney's Body Type Sign Deal With Inertia Music & Partisan Records

Sydney quartet Body Type have inked a fresh deal with Inertia Music and Partisan Records, dropping brand new single Arrow to celebrate.

The group have been gaining traction since they unleashed a duo of banger singles in 2017 but according to Gab Ryan and Meg Williams, co-directors of Inertia Label Group, there have been eyes on the band for some time.

"From Body Type's first ever gig we've seen the band go from strength to strength and are extremely thrilled to be working with them, this is a band that dreams are made of," Ryan and Williams said.

The feelings are mutual with Body Type vocalist and guitarist Sophie McCormish vouching for the team's longtime support.

"Gab came to our last rehearsal before our very first gig for moral support, and Meg still has a setlist from our second ever show so they have been with us from the start really," McCormish said.

"The people Body Type work with are like our family, and we are so happy for Inertia and Partisan to become a part of that."

Body Talk hit the road this week, supporting Alex Cameron for shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne.
