Chvrches new album Love Is Dead drops at the end of May with the band already revealing a killer first single Get Out, featuring the vocals of The National's Matt Berninger.

The Scottish rockers came back at the start of the year with their LP Always Ascending, their first release in five years. No matter what happens here, expect them to take you out.
dune rats & friends
Dunies are a festival staple but they're mixing it up this year by adding a mysterious "& Friends" to their name. It's a safe bet these friends are gonna be of the Skegss/Violent Soho/giant lifesized shoey variety and they'll help the band smash through their 2017 album The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit.
henry rollins
The Black Flag legend hasn't put out a record since 2002 but has more than enough material to pull from his decades in the industry. No word yet if he'll dig up a rant or two.
Anna lunoe
This Sydney-born DJ has popped up on the line-ups of Coachella, Lollapalooza, TomorrowWorld and more, she might be LA-based now but she's coming back Down Under armed with her latest single, Blaze Of Glory.
Lewis capaldi
The Scottish singer has been making waves over the last year, he holds the proud title of fastest ever unsigned artist to reach 25 million plays on Spotify for his 2017 debut single Bruises. Since then he's toured with the likes of Sam Smith and Rag N Bone Man, dropping his debut EP, Bloom, in November last year.

The Sydney four-piece finnnnallly put out their debut LP When We Fall last year and picked up the Best Blues & Roots Album ARIA Award for their troubles. The only other thing you need to know is they opened for Backstreet Boys on their 2015 Australian tour.
Alex the astronaut
This singing/soccer/maths and physics star blessed us with two EP's in 2017, See You Soon and To Whom It May Concern. She's gotten the seal of approval from Sir Elton John, the rocket man labelled her lyrics "fabulous" on UK radio show Beats 1 last year.

20-year-old Dominic Harrison, aka Yungblud, had everyone copying his Doncaster accent last year following his debut single I Love You, Will You Marry Me. Now with a self-titled EP under his belt, he'll be returning to Australia for Splendour following a whirlwind 2017 visit.

Making the trek all the way from Perth, this electro trio will be hitting up Splendour after spending the first half of the year touring the US, Australia, Europe and the UK on their back of their debut 2017 album Vera.
nina las vegas

A familiar face on the Aussie DJ scene, Nina Las Vegas spent most of 2017 dropping fire music via her own label, NLV records. She also dropped a mix with NYC producer and Harlem Shake creator, Baauer.

Switzerland-born, Nashville-raised Sophie Allison has been putting out music under the Soccer Mommy moniker since 2015, a couple years later she landed a deal with Fat Possum records and released her debut album Clean at the start of the year. She rounds off the last of the Splendy exclusive acts.

The London producer has been kicking around since 2015, delivering his unique dance music. In 2017, he collaborated with fellow UK DJ duo CamelPhat for single Cola which snagged them a Best Dance Recording nod at the 2018 Grammy Awards.
Tim Sweeney
The wildly respected DJ has been hosting popular US radio show Beats In Space for almost 20 years as well as putting out a bunch of records through his label, Beats In Space Records.
Rolling blackouts Costal fever
Melbourne quintet Rolling Blackouts Costal Fever might only have two EP's to their name but they've already signed to Sub Pop Records and secured spots on Coachella and Primavera Sound line-ups. They just announced that their debut album Hope Downs will be released on 15 June.

Nashville native Alicia Bognanno and her band will wrap up their huge US/UK/European tour just in time to fly in for Splendour Friday and then back out again to play Seattle's Capitol Hill Block Party on Sunday.

Electro/R&B superstar and The Music cover artist, Wafia ensnared a nation with her infectious single Bodies last year before following it up with her third EP VIII back in January 2018.

The brainchild of Lowlake's Tom Snowdon and Big Scary's Tom Iansek, No Mono stepped out into the world last year with their single Butterflies. While they've given us no music beyond that, the track is stunning enough to make them a SITG must-see.

Last year, with just one single (Slow Mover) officially released, McMahon landed herself a support slot for The Shins, took out the 2017 Josh Pyke Partnership Award and climbed to #33 on the Hottest 100. She'll be joining Angus & Julia Stone on their national tour this year before gracing the Splendy stage.

The Adelaide seven-piece may have shortened their name in 2017 (they dropped 'Brothel Party' off the end) but they expanded their sound, all working towards the release of their debut album Different Beings Being Different on 18 May.
EVES KARYDAS
The artist formerly know as Eves The Behavior has been steadily churning out tunes since 2015, releasing single further Than The Planes Fly, from an as-yet-unnamed debut album, at the beginning of the year.

Another Aussie fresh off a stellar SCSW showcase, the 24-year-old took the world by storm with her debut single About You. She recently announced her first-ever live Aussie shows set for May.
The Babe Rainbow
More Byron Bay locals, the psychedelic trio dropped their debut, self-titled album last year — kicking off a huge US tour in celebration of the record.
Haiku Hands
The Sydney band with the sickest moves, Haiku Hands have become renowned for their high-octane live shows and their earworm single Not About You. They destroyed at Falls Festival and Laneway at the start of the year — who knows what they'll pull out for Splendour.
Didirri
SXSW alumni, Didirri has been drip-feeding hungry fans singles since mid-last year, culminating in a heartbreaking single, Formaldehyde, that he dropped in February. He's currently doing shows around the country on the back of the track.

Fresh off the release of her debut album I'm Dreaming in February, Melbourne producer Annika Schmarsel — aka Alice Ivy — wasted no time getting it to the people, heading out on a national tour straight after. She's currently on the road opening for The Jungle Giants on their Aussie run.

Melbourne four-piece Amyl & The Sniffers are bringing back Aussie pub-rock and have cultivated a cult thanks to it. Fans can get their hands on the new album, Big Attraction & Giddy Up, come 25 May.

Perth pop purveyor Teischa is barely in her twenties but has already landed herself on the line-up for UK festivals like Live at Leeds, The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City. She's getting ready to get set and go on her latest single, Before, on 13 April.

Western Australian, Ziggy Ramo, has been on the radar for a while, lighting up Falls Festival and BIGSOUND last year. His music is fiercely politically charged, dedicating his last single YKWD to late Kalgoorlie Indigenous teenager Elijah Daniel.

This Melbourne DJ most recently blew the crowd away at Sugar Mountain festival with his slickly produced beats.

Aussie electro act LO'99 has slowly been building his audience over the last couple years, he's just about to wrap up a national tour on the back of his new single Bizness which recently hit #1 on the ARIA Club chart.

Sydney-based dance duo Human Movement are a lock for a late-night get-down. They dropped their latest EP I Need mid-2017 and delivered brand new single Friday Flats just a couple months ago.

The Sydney rapper just inked a fresh deal with Primary Talent in the UK and Europe on the back of his 2017 debut EP Mood Forever. In celebration, he unleashed a Parisian-themed video for single Different League.

Splendour will be the Swedish producer's first visit to Australia, — after a string of singles, the 22-year-old released his debut album Places We Don't Know in January.

London-based DJ Crissi Vassilakis, aka, Madam X, doesn't just push out her own bangers — she's also got her own imprint, Kaizen, that focuses on grime, garage and dubstep tunes.
ara koufax
Melbourne electronic duo Ara Koufax will take to the Splendour stage to dispense their own unique brand of dance music. Just today (12 April) the pair dropped two new synth-heavy tracks, Shame and Shades Of Blue.

Former members of short-lived but excellent indie-pop band Snakadaktal, Phoebe Lou and Joey Clough, have reunited to create Two People. They recently signed to Liberation Records and have been teasing new music on their socials since September. Stay tuned.
b wise
This Sydney MC has been on the up-and-up lately, opening for Future when he was in Australia back in February. B Wise dropped massive single The Key back in February and has been hinting at a full release for later in the year.

Sydney producer Paris Forscutt, also known as Made In Paris, has been steadily releasing tracks each year with 2018's single entitled Erratic. She's currently taking the reigns as triple j's April Mixup resident, spinning tunes every Saturday for the rest of the month.
Jensen Interceptor
Sydney spinner Jensen Interceptor — not to be confused with the classic UK car model — is teaming up with fellow DJ The Hackers to drop The Trigger Zone EP, which is slated for release 4 May.
woodes
24-year-old Melbournite Woodes owned 2017, her single Run For It cracked 2 million plays on Spotify and she scored a coveted SXSW showcase. She's kept the magic running into 2018, supporting BØRNS and Ásgeir on their Aussie tours and delivering a new EP, Golden Hour.
antony & cleopatra
The Aussie/UK duo signed to Dew Process at the end of last year and dropped single Twitch, the first taste off their debut album which is expected later in the year.
muto
25-year-old EDM producer MUTO hales from Sydney's Northern Beaches and has consistently been landing tracks on triple j since 2016. He spent the latter half of 2017 touring Australia and Europe on the back of his single Say Nothing.
elk road
Perth producer Elk Road dropped Solid Gold last year, a pearler of a tune that featured fellow SITG act Julia Stone. Here's hoping for an IRL rendition from the pair at this year's festival.

A DJ straight out of Collingwood, Gurrieri spins tunes and helms the Mystic Brew show on Melbourne's PBS 106.7FM.
love deluxe
Sydney producer Love Deluxe unleashed a mid-year treat in 2017 in the form of his debut EP Silk Mirage.
LAUREN HANSOM
Another Sydney act that'll be trekking up for the fest, Hansom spent a good part of 2017 spinning tracks in the clubs of London.

Poolclvb is smack bang in the middle of a national tour in support of his most recent single Freefall featuring Queensland singer Doolie.
godlands
Adelaide producer Godlands will be gigging across Australia on the back of single Pleasures right up until she hits the Splendour stage in July.
NYXEN
Nyxen isn't any ordinary producer, she infuses dance music with her own brand of guitar-driven indie pop. Her latest release was well-spun single In The City at the end of last year.
EBONY BOADU
Boadu is a sucker for festivals, having already hit up Secret Garden this year and prepping to close out the plot stage at Groovin' The Moo Maitland at the end of the month.
