Get ready to transform into a puddle on the ground because brand new heavy music event Meltdown Festival just dropped a line-up so hot it'll burn your fingers.

The touring line-up for all three dates, as well as local acts, have been announced and includes the likes of Gay Paris, Child, Arteries, The Black Swamp and a truckload more.

In its inaugural year, the festival will hit up Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane over successive weekends in May.

"We look forward to providing a day of good times, great bands for the fans and hope to create memories that they’ll never forget," festival organiser Jason Finlay said.
