Following news that UK's iconic Spice Girls are set to finally reform, it has being reported that group member Geri Horner wants to launch the comeback at the upcoming wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

As The Sun reports, the singer believes their reunion should have a British theme and that the May royal wedding would be the perfect opportunity to officially launch their comeback.

Meanwhile, in a new interview with BBC Radio 2 (via NME), Mel C confirmed the singers are "talking about opportunities and ideas", but that it is still "early stages and there's nothing set in stone".

"The funny thing is, unfortunately, we can’t do anything without it being all over the press," she said.

"It's the worst kept secret in showbiz, isn’t it?"

Mel C continued, "There’s no big announcement.

"But it’s just great to be back in Spice World and to see the reaction."

A statement issued by Victoria Beckham's publicist Jo Milloy on behalf of the Spice Girls on Friday also confirmed that the group are in talks for upcoming projects. 

"We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of the Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations," the statement reads.
