The inquest into the tragic passing of The Cranberries singer, Dolores O'Riordan​, has been delayed until April.

As BBC reports, the inquest at Westminster Coroner's Court has been pushed back to 3 April while the coroner waits for results of "various tests that have been commissioned". 

The 46-year-old musician was found dead in a London hotel on Monday, where she was in town to take part in a recording session for a cover of The Cranberries' iconic track, Zombie​.

Meanwhile, O'Riordan's funeral is confirmed to be taking place in Ireland next Tuesday at the Church of St Ailbe in Ballybricken, Co Limerick.
