Tash Sultana took full advantage of her record-breaking show at Margaret Court Arena last night, calling out the tennis legend and laying some stern ground rules for the audience.

Speaking at the venue at the beginning of the gig on Thursday night, the 22-year-old was quick to address Court, who made a number of homophobic comments this year.

"The music doesn't stop for Margaret Court, that's for sure," Sultana told the sold-out crowd.

"This is really funny because I don't really have too much of an opinion of someone until I think they're a dickhead.

"But, mate, get up with the times, fucking hell. Because there's 7,500 in here tonight and I don't think she stopped any of this from happening."

As she has at previous shows, the Melbourne artist laid out three clear ground rules for the audience to follow.

"Number one — if you're homophobic, get the fuck out of my gig.

Number two — if you're racist, get the fuck out of my gig… and number three, if you're transphobic, get the fuck out of my gig."
