Time to dig out your formal gear.

More Cable Ties More Cable Ties

Melbourne punk rockers Cable Ties have taken out this year's Corner Award and have unveiled a very special gig to celebrate.

As is tradition, the winner of each year’s award hosts their very own gig at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel. This February will see the first ever Cable Ties Ball, a multi-stage event featuring the titular band and a smattering of very special guests such as Miss Blanks, Habits, The Dacios and more.

“Immerse yourself in the grand hall of The Corner Hotel as we present a sparkling cluster of the finest humans across two stages," Cable Ties said.

"Dress in your finest denim, leather, velvet, sequins, lace or band t-shirt and get lost amongst sparkling chandeliers and mountainous, glowing amp stacks."
