More Jimmy Barnes More Jimmy Barnes

Following this month's release of his new memoir, Working Class Man, it has been confirmed that a feature-length documentary based on Jimmy Barnes will hit Australian TV screens in 2018.

Jimmy Barnes: Working Class Boy, to screen on the Channel Seven network, is based on the Aussie legend's 2016 memoir, Working Class Boy, and will tell the story of his childhood survival in the slums of Glasgow, moving to Australia and joining Cold Chisel.

The CJZ-produced documentary is also to be an adaption of the book and stage show, with a soundtrack performed by Barnes himself.

A premiere date for the project is yet to be announced, but keep an eye on theMusic.com.au for more details as they come.
