This collar list just keeps getting better.

Following recording sessions withs the likes of Pete Wentz and Twenty One Pilots member Josh Dun earlier this year, WA rockers Small Town Heroes have announced a new band name, now going by The Faim.

The band have capped off the change by hitting the studio with blink-182's Mark Hoppus (after also recording with fellow blink member Travis Barker back in May).

The Faim returned to LA this month to continue working with revered producer John Feldmann where they've co-written a track with Hoppus and Dun.

"It was inspiring to work with such iconic musicians who we have looked up to for so long," The Faim said of the collaboration.

"Both guys were super warm and we ended up writing a really powerful song that we can’t wait for everyone to hear."

The Faim's debut album is expected to be released by the end of the year.

"The Faim have everything I ever look for in a new band,” Feldmann said of the Perth outfit.

"They grew up together and are all super passionate and hardworking. They are amazing musicians and songwriters in their own right and are so easy to get along with.

"I've had the best time making this album and I can't wait for the world to hear it!"
