They'll be joined by Texan four-piece Kublai Khan for the jaunt.

More The Acacia Strain More The Acacia Strain

US deathcore luminaries The Acacia Strain will return to Australian shores for a mighty face-melter of a run this December.

The visit comes in the wake of their lauded eighth studio album Gravebloom, which was released back in June and went on to crack the top five on the US indie charts.

It's the first of the band's records to feature rhythm guitarist Tom Smith Jr and bassist Griffin Landa, both of whom joined the line-up over the past couple of years, after the release of seventh LP Coma Witch (2014).

The long-serving outfit also released a three-way split EP last year, with Fit For An Autopsy and Aussie favourites Thy Art Is Murder, called The Depression Sessions.

Tickets for all shows will be available from 9am local time this coming Tuesday, 26 September, via Destroy All Lines.
