The company rebranding will see it restructure to entail four core pillars of operation

Respected Australian music organisation UNIFIED has announced its relaunch as UNIFIED Music Group along with a restructuring of its key staff leadership roles.

The new-look UNIFIED Music Group — which has just opened a new head office in Melbourne — will operate across four core pillars: namely, UNIFIED Artist Management, UNIFIED Recorded Music, UNIFIED Touring & Events, and UNIFIED Merchandise Services.

The company's management clients already include a diversity of artists, from the likes of Amy Shark, Vance Joy and Nina Las Vegas to Northlane, The Amity Affliction and Violent Soho, all of whom have helped the company assert itself as a world-standard player in the field.

Their recorded music operations include not only their considerable label division — which entails flagship label UNFD as well as ONETWO, NLV Records, Exist Recordings and the recently launched 1825 Records — as well as their music publishing operations (in partnership with Mushroom Music Publishing) and label services for houses such as Hopeless Records (US) and House Of Beige, the label owned by REMI and Sensible J.

From the 2015 launch of UNIFY: A Heavy Music Gathering, UNIFIED Music Group's touring and events operations have only continued to grow, with the festival selling out every year of its existence and the company teaming up with Live Nation in 2016 to form touring company UNIFY Presents, which has brought artists such as Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot, A Day To Remember, Architects and more to our national stages.

Finally, underpinned by banners such as 24Hundred — which will reopen in the coming months — and The Vinyl Store, UNIFIED Music Group has had its fingers in the merchandising pie for a while now, and will keep working with artists to help deliver seamless direct-to-customer purchasing experiences across its ever-increasing range.

"Looking back at our original statement of intent, none of what we believe has changed, but we’ve grown and expanded in such amazing ways that it was time for us to refresh the way we organise our divisions," founder and chief executive Jaddan Comerford said in a statement.

"We exist as a company focused on building careers. Whether this is for a client or a team member, that is why I get out of bed in the morning. So in order to do this, we need to be organised, and we need to be very clear about what we are doing and how we are doing it."

To that end, the company has announced its new executive team, who make up just under a third of the company's now-35-strong workforce.

Having seen incredible growth since UNIFIED's inception in 2011, Comerford says he is "proud to be the CEO of what I truly believe is a company looking into the future", and that the business wants "to be able to give everyone as many opportunities as possible to succeed and have long-lasting careers".
