Gwen Stefani and Live Nation are reportedly being sued for causing a stampede at a US concert last year that resulted in one fan breaking their leg.

According to TMZ, the injured fan, Lisa Stricklin, claims that the No Doubt singer encouraged fans seated in lawn chairs to move forward into the reserved area at PNC Pavilion in Charlotte last July, prompting many punters to rush forward.

Stefani allegedly told the crowd, "Just fill in anywhere you like! Who cares about your lawn chairs? You can get new ones!"

The 47-year-old artist reportedly acknowledged she should not have invited fans to move forward, saying later in the concert, "I got in so much trouble for telling you guys to come up here!"

Stricklin further claims that she was forced to pay for surgery and treatment herself after breaking her leg and is now suing Stefani and Live Nation for negligence.

Stefani nor Live Nation have publicly commented on the matter as yet.
