Hot on the heels of his announcement as Australia's inaugural fellow for YouTube's Creators For Change program, L-FRESH The LION has unveiled a new collaborative merchandising initiative in partnership with several handpicked artists.

The 2017 Artist Series will coincide with "special moments" from throughout the year, including tours, releases and other events on L-FRESH's calendar. Each item will, of course, be part of a limited run, in terms of both numbers and availability period.

Once a particular piece is sold out, "that's it! You'll have to keep an eye out for the next design", L-FRESH said on social media.

The line's first piece (pictured above, also available as a T-shirt) was created with Sydney artist Glenn "Glenno" Smith in commemoration of the rapper's upcoming appearances on this year's Groovin The Moo festival tour.

Smith — who L-FRESH describes as an "art mercenary" and "the go-to artist for metal and punk bands" — has previously curated four exhibitions based on T-shirts, gig posters, "low-brow" art and craft, and self-published comics, and his contribution will be available exclusively at Groovin The Moo from this weekend, before being made available for limited public sale via the Elefant Traks website from Monday 15 May.

Though future collaborators are yet to be announced, rest assured that L-FRESH will be working with a world-class selection of artists from across the globe of whom he's a personal fan, saying that he sees the partnerships as "an opportunity for me to share my appreciation for art and design with my fan family".
