More AC/DC More AC/DC

Former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has opened up on possibly reuniting with the legendary rockers, after he admitted to charges of threatening to kill and drug possession in 2015.

Speaking in an interview with Kaaos TV (via Blabbermouth), Rudd said he would like to work on the band's next album.

"I'd like to be involved with Angus [Young] again, maybe on the next album or something," he said.

"But I still have some traveling restrictions, and I'm not sure if I can go to America or not. I've got some lawyers doing some work so I can go back to America, but I'm not too sure.

"So I have some limitations on what I can do, and I'm just making the best of my situation at the moment."

The 62-year-old also confirmed that he still is in regular contact with his former band members.

"I talk to Brian [Johnson, AC/DC singer] and we just talk about cars, and I talk to Cliff [Williams, AC/DC bassist], and we just talk [about] anything.

"It's just old friends talk. But I'm sure Angus has got a few ideas. He did a great job on the Rock Or Bust album. I think it's a great album — one of the best ones we've done, for sure."

Though he stated last year that he had no interest in performing with stand-in singer and Guns N' Roses frontman, Axl Rose, Rudd was this time more subdued when asked about playing with the revered singer.

"I don't know. I just play drums," Rudd said.

"When I play with AC/DC, I just play drums. [With my solo band], I'm the boss of everything. [But when I play with AC/DC], I don't [care about the other stuff]. I just play drums, and I enjoy that."
