EXCLUSIVE: Aussie Management Group Launches Label Arm; Appoints Former FBi Director

Aussie artist management company and label, Mirror Music Group (MMG), have today launched label division, Mirror Records, to coincide with the announcement that former FBi Radio Music Director Stephen Goodhew is joining the team.

Goodhew is to be based in Sydney and will serve as the head of A&R for the new label arm, as well as Artist Manager, while MMG Director Kurt Bailey will remain in New York. 

"Stevie and I have had a very long standing friendship and have always inspired each other to get behind really great artists," Bailey said of of Goodhew's appointment.

"I believe he has some of the greatest ears and taste in the country, and has made an huge impact on Sydney culture and community at FBi.

"I'm honoured to have one of my best mates join the company and am excited about what we're aiming to achieve together for our artists and friends."

Goodhew took on the role of Music Director at FBi in 2013, having worked at the station since 2009, and will step into fresh territory in the new MMG role. 

MMG currently boasts an impressive roster that includes the like of Gang Of Youths and Middle Kids and is set to expand, with two new signings to be announced early next week.
