Rising singer/songwriter Alex Lahey has announced a global record label signing to Dead Oceans this morning, just a few weeks out from her trip to SXSW in Austin, Texas.

Dead Oceans, a part of Secretly Group, boasts artists such as The Tallest Man On Earth, Julianna Barwick, Marlon Williams and Bleached, and will take care of Lahey in all territories outside of Australia, where she's signed to Caroline.

Lahey says of the awesome news, "It is an absolute honour to announce my international signing to Dead Oceans. To see my name on the list of artists that works with Dead Oceans and the Secretly Group is nothing less than a dream come true.

"I am so excited to be working with a label who truly believes in their artists and have a vision that wholeheartedly demonstrates their genuine passion for music. I can't wait to release my debut album later this year via Dead Oceans around the world and via my own label Nicky Boy Records locally."

The announcement arrives with a brand new video from the Lahey camp, this time for Wes Anderson.
