Legendary Composer Hans Zimmer Announces Aus Leg Of 'Hans Zimmer Revealed'

One of the most prolific and respected composers of our time, Hans Zimmer, has unveiled plans to bring his blockbuster Hans Zimmer Revealed show to Australia and New Zealand next year.

As a Grammy-, Tony-, Golden Globe- and Oscar-winning composer of films such as The Lion King, Gladiator and The Dark Knight trilogy, Zimmer's show will be split into two distinct parts — one, a career-spanning set of scores from his most classic films, and the second featuring scores from films like Inception reimagined with a number of pop/rock special guests.

Zimmer says, "Performing a concert series like this is something that I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled to visit Australia and New Zealand and return to Europe where we had so much fun playing in the summer.

"I am very excited to get some of my very talented friends together and give our audiences an experience unlike any concert they have ever been to before."

Hans Zimmer Revealed has already played two sold out shows at London's Wembley Arena before traipsing across Europe to critical acclaim in each city.

The tour will hit arenas in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth next May.
