Some selling for over $2000.

More Jerry Seinfeld More Jerry Seinfeld

Thousands are seething after tickets for Jerry Seinfeld’s Aussie tour, which went on sale this morning, sold out in a matter of minutes and are now available for more than triple the original cost on the Ticketmaster Resale site.

The most expensive tickets for the shows were available for $203.60 on Ticketek today, however tickets for that particular category are now currently going for well over $1000 each on the resale site.

As another example, the cheapest ticket available for Seinfeld’s Sydney performances is currently available for $389.71, while tickets close to the front are available for up to nearly $2300 each.

Fans have also taken to social media to slam Ticketek for today’s purchasing process, with many claiming they were pushed off the website while in the middle of purchasing tickets.

"Put credit card details in and hit "pay now" only to be sent back to the queue losing my tickets! Love to hear your excuse for this one," one Facebook user wrote on Ticketek’s page, while another said, "Ticketek you should be taking those tickets back and reselling them yourselves, disgusting that you don't have a system in place to stop this from happening".

Nearly all of Seinfeld’s shows around the country have sold out, or are very close to.
