A lot of unique internationals as well as Aussie favourites

With respected UK ska outfit The Specials already confirmed to play — alongside 20 other huge names — a second artist announcement has arrived today from WOMADelaide with 24 more acts from around the world.

In anticipation of a massive 25th birthday edition next March, WOMADelaide have locked in a slew of unique internationals such as 11-piece gypsy rockers from the Balkans, Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra, Austrian electro-swing favourites Parov Stelar, African singer Oumou Sangare, Turkish rock'n'roller Baba ZuLa and the inimitable Nattali Rize, who will be playing Mullum Music Festival and Queenscliff Music Festival this November, too.

From our own backyard, the four-day festival will host L-FRESH The LION, Angus Stone's new side project Dope Lemon and DD Dumbo — and that's just the tip of the artist iceberg.

WOMADelaide director Ian Scobie says, "To be able to have Dancenorth’s Attractor presented alongside Turkish rock and roll, one of Mali’s most stunning vocalists & cultural ambassadors, and Austrian electro-swing truly epitomises the cultural diversity of WOMADelaide."
