Crowded House Unveil Fourth Sydney Show Date

This might be getting just a bit ridiculous now

More Crowded House More Crowded House

Out-of-control demand has seen legendary Aussie outfit Crowded House add a fourth performance date in Sydney as part of their upcoming tour.

The band will take to the Opera House forecourt on Sunday 27 November, adding to their previously announced, now-sold-out trio of shows at the venue from 24-26 November.

Aussie thirst for Crowded House tickets is unquestionably rampant, but has likely been marginally inflated by the use of Ticketmaster's widely criticised ticket resale facility, which saw passes to earlier shows being on-sold for figures between $500 and $900.

It's not just on the official resale site, either; even now, at the time of writing, there's a listing on Gumtree from someone asking for $2200 — or $1100 a pop, about 8.5 times the price of the tickets' original cost — for a pair of tickets, after the seller paid $600 at resale and apparently discovered they couldn't attend the concert (as though their lack of foresight should be someone else's $500 mark-up).

Maybe we wouldn't need three extra Crowded House shows if people just weren't such dicks to each other. Just sayin'.

Tickets for the newly announced show are on sale now via Live Nation.
