RY X Unveils Falls Festival Sideshow Details

The lauded Aussie musician has slated two headline shows on his home turf for January

Globally successful Aussie-born musician RY X will treat local fans to two headline performances during his bout of activity in a few months' time as part of the Falls Music & Arts Festival touring contingent.

Still riding the wave of buzz generated by recent debut full-length Dawn, RY X will land at the Newtown Social Club, in Sydney, and Northcote Social Club, in Melbourne, soon after we say goodbye to 2016, as the acclaimed singer-songwriter turns his focus from a wildly successful previous 12 months towards the year ahead.

Although he was born Down Under, RY X has had broad international success as a denizen of Los Angeles, where he has resided for the past 10 years, even becoming the first artist to sign with Stockholm label Dumont Dumont, while Dawn enjoyed release via BMG-owned UK label Infectious Records and US contemporary Loma Vista Recordings, part of the Concord Bicycle Music Group. It went on to chart not only in expected markets such as the UK and Australia, but in Germany, France and Canada too, proving RY X has garnered himself considerable pulling power pretty much across the Western world.

Secret Sounds Touring members will have access to tickets from 11am this Thursday, 22 September, via a pre-sale running until 8am on Friday, 23 September. General-public tickets will go on sale an hour later, at 9am.
