More TLC More TLC

Iconic R&B outfit TLC will follow up their 2014 maiden voyage to Australia with a return visit this November alongside their first-ever shows in New Zealand.

The multiple Grammy Award-winning duo will hit local shores from Wednesday 16 November, with a show at Sydney's Enmore Theatre, also taking in performances in Adelaide (Tuesday 22 November, Thebarton Theatre) and Melbourne (Wednesday 23 November, Palais Theatre). The group's New Zealand shows fall either side of those dates, with the first two in Wellington (Michael Fowler Centre) and Tauranga (ASB Bay Park Arena) on Thursday 10 and Saturday 12 November respectively, with the final performance coming at Auckland's Vector Arena on Saturday 26 November.

TLC will be joined by a special guest in fellow '90s icon Montell Jordan for Adelaide and Auckland's performances; best-known as the performer of 1995 chart jam This Is How We Do It, Jordan has since retired from a full-time music career to tend to the flock at Victory World Church, where he serves as a worship minister.

The visit comes ahead of the band's projected 2017 album, their first such studio effort since 2002's 3D (the final work to feature late member Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopez, though it was released after her death) and final release overall.

"This album, our final album, is dedicated to all of you that have stuck with us, always challenging us to do our best," the band have said of the impending LP, which largely remains a mystery. "And, of course, it's for the new fans too! We just want to put out great music that touches everyone. That's it."

Tickets for TLC's impending Australian tour will be available via Frontier Members' pre-sale from 2pm AEST (4pm NZST) this Wednesday, 24 August, running for 24 hours or until the allocation is exhausted.

General-public tickets will go on sale from 10am local time AU/12pm NZST next Monday, 29 August, through various outlets. See theGuide for more booking information
