Allday Announces 'Sides' Single Release & Aussie Tour

The jetsetting rapper hits the road for seven shows around the country this September

More Allday More Allday

World-beating Australian rapper Allday may be busier than ever, hobnobbing around studios in New York and Los Angeles and selling out tour after tour, but he hasn't let the productivity side of things slide, announcing the release of new single Sides and unveiling a run of national tour dates in support.

Never one to shy away from his roots, Allday conscripted the talents of fellow Melburnian Nyne and long-time collaborator Cam Bluff, who shared production duties on Sides before passing it along to Rob Kinelski (Drake, Nas) for mixing and Chris Athens (Childish Gambino, Drake) for mastering.

Fittingly, for a performer in his prime balancing underground credibility with a burgeoning mainstream reputation, the song deals in themes of loyalty and ambition, no doubt topics well and truly at the forefront of his mind as he continues to take his career to new heights.

The tour kicks off at 170 Russell, in Melbourne, on Friday 16 September, with an under-18s event at the same venue the following evening. The tour turns licensed all-ages for the next three shows — in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide — before rounding out with two shows at Metropolis, Fremantle, on Friday 30 September; an under-18s shindig in the afternoon and an over-18s performance that evening.

Allday is rewarding his fans with a ticket pre-sale from 9am this coming Monday, 18 July, which runs for 48 hours or until the allocation is exhausted. If you want to chance waiting for general release tickets — although, bear in mind the rapper's last two tours both sold out within two days — then you'll have to wait till 9am local time on Thursday 21 July.

He'll be joined for all shows by his contemporaries UV Boi فوق بنفسجي and Tyne-James Organ.
