Sydney hardcore act Hellions have revealed plans for their most elaborate album to date — Opera Oblivia, structured like a theatrical presentation, will be the boys' celebration and exploration of "everything that makes being alive worthwhile". Alongside the announcement, Hellions have also unveiled plans for a headline tour next month.

"We would love for Opera Oblivia to be an escape for its listeners," Hellions guitarist Matthew Gravolin says. "But more than that, we want it to commiserate with people through our common unpleasantries and overwhelming hardships, and also celebrate alongside our inevitable victory.

"We want people to allow it to befriend them and remain with them long after its sounds fade out."

Featuring collaborations from Northlane's Jonathon Deiley, Ocean Grove's Sam Bassal and more, the upcoming tour will be the perfect chance to catch these triumphant tunes live — if you're in Melbourne, you'll even get to celebrate Opera Oblivia's release with the boys on at the tour's first stop. After that they'll head to Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane from 29 July until 13 August.
